Visionary Trends and Happenings in 2009 by Soleira Green, UK
2009 has already started out to be an exceptional year!
The evolution of business ~ The economic crunch is demonstrating the demise of the old way of doing business and finance giving way to the emergence of a new form of dynamic, creative, visionary business.
A new kind of abundance for all ~ Finance, investment and banking has hit the ridiculous point where one bank in the UK has just asked for a £260 billion bail out. Wow, when did we start thinking in such extraordinarily large numbers and being ok with turning that over to businesses that simply arent working!
In his speech to congress this past week, Prime Minister Gordon Brown called to all nations to come together globally to create a new prosperity for all and to reform the financial markets to be free, but never value-free.

Dynamic Business ~ Living Vision by Denise Wright, Singapore
This year, more than ever, we see the potential for vibrant living and collaborative working. I see myself, and those I work closely with, creating working environments that are extremely creative, dynamic, bold and caring. We see ourselves co-creating these together with and for our clients, and for ourselves too. The essence of our work will be making vibrant living and working happen for all.
Already, we (myself and my closest collaborators) are sourcing a new type of workspace for us to thrive in and enjoy. It will be a workspace that is open, flexible, fun, nurturing, energizing, alive - a place we can evolve whatever is wanted as we keep moving and growing. Not only will this transform our enjoyment of our work, we can model a different way of working for others too.

The New Era of Responsibility ~ Moving towards the Promised Land by Judi Richardson, Canada
“I have been to the Promised Land.....” Such an amazing phrase stated by Dr. Martin Luther King years ago in articulating his grand dream. I can echo that phrase after attending the presidential inauguration in January an inauguration that was more about the people than some might think.
As a young Canadian girl attending junior high school in the southern US, I was privileged to hear Dr. King speak that dream to us. I ‘saw’ the dream as he did and made a personal commitment in my life to help actualize that dream and I am eternally grateful to friends and colleagues who made it possible for me to be in DC as President Barack Obama took his oath to physically be in the presence of the actualization of Dr. Kings dream.

The New Young Professionals by Jesper Dynesen, Denmark
I want to briefly single out an area of business that Im passionate about, and which has a huge transformative potential. Its about the meeting between the new young professionals and the established business world.
The new young professionals are the new leaders. They have the potential of changing business into fun, creative, transformative, life changing workplaces. They know that from now on, well be doing business for life and doing it for life is also the only road to true success in every way. This generation, and even more so, those to come, have direct access to creation, and to a way of life that dismisses the old distinction between life and work. We dont have to make effort to balance work and life anymore there is only LIFE, and it will be playful, graceful, fun. The new young professionals are new leaders because they have the energy, the passion to lead movement, evolution.

Out of Darkness by Barney Tremblay, UK
It was the first full engagement for me in the New Year so I was rested, refreshed and rarin to go. The client is a long-time favourite of mine whom I dont see regularly but I always enjoy working with as they always show an exceptional eagerness to learn and of course, that always brings out the best in me! Upon arrival I learned that owing to road repairs just outside the venue, we had lost all power to the facility before we even began, so literally, we were in the dark from the beginning. That was probably the greatest gift we could have received because as a result, we had to do everything differently from what was planned and without any computer support.
